Now That's Some Hair

Sloane woke up from her nap with hair like this. It reminded me of sixth grade when I actually spend alot of time trying for something real similar. (Who could forget standing in front of the mirror with a brush, hairspray, and a blow dryer.) No fair.

Brush Em, Brush Em, Brush Em....

Emerson will not be ignored!

While fighting to get the other girls ready and brush their teeth, I sorta forgot to brush Emie's.

No worries, she doesn't let us forget sbout her anymore. She just hears the bathroom sink turn on and she comes a runnin'.

No More Babies....

Last year after having Emerson, we decided we needed some strong birth control. I mean we were having a baby every year. I got myself on a five year plan. No babies for five years. I was tired of being pregnant, tired of nursing, tired of being puffy and sore.

A year ago at this time, Emerson's biggest accomplishment was trying to smile on demand.

Now she is walking like crazy, eats all by herself, and plays with out the need to have me close by. She is growing up.

By this stage there has always been another one on it's way. Not this time. I guess I have started getting baby hungry again. Seriously what is wrong with me? Three has been a big challenge.

Jeremy just reminds me to stick to "the plan."

I really need a sister or friend to have one. Then they can remind of the things I experienced last year that lead us to our drastic decision.

(Or just to let me hold!)

So hurry up Sisters and Friends!

Time to think about......

Halloween Costumes

I asked my sweet little angel what she wanted to be for Halloween this year.

I thought maybe she would say this...

Maybe this.....

I even thought this would be cute on her.

Who doesn't think little girls look adorable dressed as princesses?

I think mine already are!

Imagine my surprise when she insisted on being this....

I am so confused! Jeremy says let her go as whatever she wants. I feel I should "persuade" her to be something girlie.

I am open to any advice anyone may have to offer.
