Man I Am Such A.....

Punk!

I totally didn't drive down to Texas for my reunion. Things here just were not falling into place. My kids were not feeling well and most of my plans beside the reunion starting falling through.

My Sisters, my Mom and I decided to all go to lunch and go shopping at a few local boutiques. So all is well that ends well. As much as I would have loved to see old friends, I really enjoy hanging out with my family.

I am sad that I missed seeing everyone I planned on visiting . I hope to visit Texas and maybe even California at a later time so I can see everyone I did not get to see on this trip.

Premier Night

I am so excited to sit and watch The Office tonight. My husband and I were talking about the show, we have decided our two favorite (and under rated) characters are Tobey and Creed. They are subtle but add so much to the show. Creed just cracks me up. Do you have a favorite character?

A Tag

I was tagged by Holly at 2 Kids and Tired to complete a little tag. I need to list a few interesting facts about myself.

1. I love Celebrity Gossip. If they put it out there, I will read it. I guess as long as someone reads it, they will put it out there.

2. I had three kids in two and a half years. Most days this is not recommended!

3. I am the oldest of four girls. They are some talented gals. We all have a blog, but some post way more than others....Uuuhhhmmm.

4. I teach three year olds every Sunday, it is my most favorite calling I have ever had at Church. Those kids crack me up!

5. HGTV is my favorite channel. I listen and watch it while my kids are napping and I am blogging.

A Reason to Smile

I got this award from Yvonne. I was so happy to see how much she enjoys looking at my girls. That is what this blog seems to be all about. I really enjoy reading her blog as well.

"This is what the person that created this award says about it--the thing that I love most about blogging is that I learn so much about a person just by reading their blog. I have met MANY wonderful people with wonderful stories to tell, and I am grateful everyday for each person that I have the pleasure of crossing paths in life with.
I wanted to create something special for the people who have inspired me through their blogging; the stories they tell, and the lives they lead with grace and dignity. I visit their blogs for inspiration and encouragement......."

Now here are a few people who make me smile. You can post it, pass it along, or just know you have brought a big smile to my face by reading your blog.

Uuuuggghhhh!

I didn't bring my laptop on my trip! I figured I had more important things to "carry on" the plane. (like three kids and anything and everything they might need!) I will just browse, blog, and comment as I am able to steal a little computer time from friends and family. Hopefully there won't be too big of gaps between browsin' the blogs!

This Is Why...

M doesn't get her face time on the blog.
(see below post)

Lucky for me it was a new tube of lipstick, so she had alot to work with!

M

My sister happened to mention that I must be playing favorites. M hasn't got a lot of face time on my blog. Well it is because she is such a peace maker, big helper, great hugger, tidy upper, quick learner, super duper cutie pie.

She mostly does any thing I ask of her. She always helps with her little sisters. She plays well with both them too.

I am really blessed to have such a wonderful daughter.

M, I love you!

Playland Punk

I usually am not a mean person. I don't care a whole lot if my kids get bumped while playing. Even a little tiff among my kids and their friends doesn't get me riled up. However, today while we were eating lunch at a fast food establishment with a (nasty, gross, but I cave in every time and let them) play area, there happened to be a two year old bully.

Every time my two year old wanted to slide she would work her way up the steps and (every time) by the time she got there, he blocked her way. I looked over at his mom who was too busy chatting it up with her other tank top, bra showing friends to pay any attention to her monster child. I went over and distracted him, to help her go down. Jeremy who will not just stand by, started shouting for her to push him. The mother never glanced our way.

I finally just distracted S with some other activities. He moved on to the other innocent one year olds playing near by. Getting bored as their parents stepped in, he moved on from them too. The final straw is when he walked by and purposely knocked over my baby who is just barely walking. Jeremy let him have it, but I just sat there. Why didn't I tell off this little kid or at least his too involved with her lunch dates, Mom.

I definitely think kids are a product of their parents parenting. I guess I realized more than no discipline, he is just completely ignored.

And that is very sad!

Every Day A New Adventure

I do not care for packing. I actually hate it. The more people I have to pack for, the more stress I feel. Where is my magic wand when I need it?
I guess there is only one thing I hate more than packing.....unpacking.

So I am off to pack for our three week vacation. (I guess you can call it that) We will hit Utah, Missouri, and Texas. I hope we can fit in all the people we want to visit. It is going to be a crazy trip, but I am sure it will be over before we know it.

This Year Marks 10

My ten year high school reunion is coming up at the end of the month. I had never really planned on attending. I talk to all my friends still and know their families so I figured I didn't need to pay to hang out with them. Well, many people have been asking me to go. So I started considering going. I started getting all nostalgic.

My Senior picture.

Homecoming

Prom

Graduation

Off to Provo.

So, yes Sarah I have decided to come. See you all there.

It seems....

......this child may be mine.

(Sloanie)

People say she looks the most like my family. I guess I see a little bit of a resemblance. She is cuter in my opinion.

(Me)

What do you think?

Now That's Some Hair

Sloane woke up from her nap with hair like this. It reminded me of sixth grade when I actually spend alot of time trying for something real similar. (Who could forget standing in front of the mirror with a brush, hairspray, and a blow dryer.) No fair.

Brush Em, Brush Em, Brush Em....

Emerson will not be ignored!

While fighting to get the other girls ready and brush their teeth, I sorta forgot to brush Emie's.

No worries, she doesn't let us forget sbout her anymore. She just hears the bathroom sink turn on and she comes a runnin'.

No More Babies....

Last year after having Emerson, we decided we needed some strong birth control. I mean we were having a baby every year. I got myself on a five year plan. No babies for five years. I was tired of being pregnant, tired of nursing, tired of being puffy and sore.

A year ago at this time, Emerson's biggest accomplishment was trying to smile on demand.

Now she is walking like crazy, eats all by herself, and plays with out the need to have me close by. She is growing up.

By this stage there has always been another one on it's way. Not this time. I guess I have started getting baby hungry again. Seriously what is wrong with me? Three has been a big challenge.

Jeremy just reminds me to stick to "the plan."

I really need a sister or friend to have one. Then they can remind of the things I experienced last year that lead us to our drastic decision.

(Or just to let me hold!)

So hurry up Sisters and Friends!

Time to think about......

Halloween Costumes

I asked my sweet little angel what she wanted to be for Halloween this year.

I thought maybe she would say this...

Maybe this.....

I even thought this would be cute on her.

Who doesn't think little girls look adorable dressed as princesses?

I think mine already are!

Imagine my surprise when she insisted on being this....

I am so confused! Jeremy says let her go as whatever she wants. I feel I should "persuade" her to be something girlie.

I am open to any advice anyone may have to offer.
