Happy Birthday Jeremy!

Ten Reasons I love you!

1. You are a GREAT dad. I am always amazed at the time you spend with the girls teaching them new games and playing with them. You always take them swimming (with or without me) because they love it. You have encouraged me to let them make their own decisions. (I know I can be a control freak) You let me sleep in on Saturday mornings (even though you get up earlier than me all week long) and make muffins with the girls.

2. I love that you are the romantic one in the relationship. I do not want to call myself out or anything, but you are the one who remembers all anniversaries and special things.

3. You bring me flowers just because. Even at times when it has not been in our budget, you always surprise me and brighten my day.

4. You make me feel important. You always want to know how I feel about things even if you are educated about them and I am not.

5. You eat my cooking. I know I am not a great cook. The years have been kind and I am getting better. You eat EVERYTHING I make tell me how wonderful it is.

6. You make me laugh. It seems at times we are on the same wave length. You make me laugh harder than anyone else.

7. You are a really good brother. It makes me happy to see how much they want to spend time with you.

8. You talk to your Mom more than I talk to mine. That is a lot. I think it is really sweet. I know you respect her opinion on things. She is a real smart lady.

9. I think you are handsome. I get lost in those beautiful blue/green eyes. When I stare into them all the bad things in life disappear.

10. You work hard. I am so proud of the things you have accomplished since we got married almost seven years ago. (Can you believe it?) You have achieved so much and I know there are great things in store for your future. You have earned them and deserve them.

I LOVE YOU!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY J!!

Too Busy

No not me... I always have time to blog. (wink) My background is too busy and is giving me a headache. I will probably change it soon as I can create a new one. I hope it is readable til then.

UPDATE: It is looking better! I have to reinstall all of my Widgets though. Wow, this may take awhile.

For Brittany (and everyone else)

Here is what I did with the Hobby Lobby bowl. I may leave it up through Christmas as is. I love these acorns I got at Target around Halloween time.

A closer view.

Here are the candle sticks I told you about, decorated for Fall. I love how tall they are. I may have to buy a second set (one of three) for the Family Room.

I told myself I would not put up any Christmas decor before Thanksgiving, but I am feeling the Holiday Spirit and I am almost done putting it up. I can't wait for Mom and Dad to visit during the beginning of December. I will post my Christmas decor soon.

Love to You,
Your Kiddos, and all my Sisters,

A New Addition

Because we knew it would make one little girl the happiest girl in the world...

...we brought this home.

An 8 week old kitten.

See I told you she would be happy!

It has also curbed my human baby cravings as well.

win/win

Trick-o-Treat

We took the girls to the mall to start off the night. They liked getting candy, but they really loved looking at everyone Else's costumes.

Jeremy, Sloane, and Micah went to a little craft area, while Emie and I shopped some Halloween deals.

Her cheesy smiles crack me up.

We started at 6:00 pm and still seemed to be the first ones out. We knew ours kids would walk slow and tire fast so we were glad there was not any crowds. After about twenty minutes though the sidewalks were crowded. Emie was scared of almost every costume and most decorations.

It got dark fast, and that made Emerson even more frightened by everything. We got through half the neighborhood and it was eight o'clock when we decided to head towards home. By eight thirty the kids were OUT! Now that is my kind of Halloween.
I will just add that this was the fifth time I had gotten my kids ready in costumes. I was so glad it was the last. We got dressed for our ward trunk-o-treat and also for Jeremy's customer appreciation Halloween party. I am so done til next year. All my Halloween decor came down Saturday morning.

It The Great Pumpkin..

...Carving everyone.

The girls really wanted to carve our pumpkins this year. I know this means ~I~ will be carving pumpkins this year.

Emie was the first one to get bored, but she did help clean them out a little bit.

I decided to do two easy jack-o-lanterns and one difficult (for me)jack-o-lantern.

Sloane was making the funniest faces pulling out all the pumpkin guts. Micah actually touched the "inside stuff" this year.

My spider and web took over one hour. I was exhausted. Next year maybe we will just paint them.

But, the carved ones look so much better at night.

Boo at the Zoo

We decided to take our girls to Boo at the Zoo. After all our little zoo has finally got giraffes and lions. We were so excited. It is not that we have not seen those animals before just not in a while.
Well it seemed that everyone in town had the same idea. It was CRAZY, but fun.

Micah was a "princess mermaid" again.

Emie was a fairy.

Sloane was "spidergirl" this year, as opposed to last years spiderman.

Such a cute group shot!

The weather was so nice. I am not sure why it has been so warm, but it was perfect for this Halloween season.

My happy girl.

Micah is losing her baby face. She is starting to look so grown up.

Sloane is mad because I want to take a picture and not open candy.

Emie is so sweet and is offering to share her sticky treat. No thanks Sweety, I think I'll pass.

Taking a snack break.

We only lost Sloane twice. The first time we found her at the large giraffe slide. The second time we found her here. I am going to have to start handcuffing her to my hand.
Besides those instances, we had a great time.

Happiness is...

....thinking when you put on your Spiderman costume, you really ARE Spiderman (even with cute bows in your hair).

The whole crew! Hope your Holiday was GREAT!

Sloane's Preschool Halloween Performance

I did a GREAT job. I'm a natural performer. :0)
Seriously, they all really performed well during rehearsal.
