All Art is Beautiful

While Jeremy and I pack up, the girls fend for themselves a bit.

(Yes, we do use diaper boxes to pack up. Since my oldest was only 2 1/2 when baby number 3 came, I had 3 kids in diapers at one time and acquired quite a collection. I must say these boxes are lasting. Lasted longer than our computer boxes, but I digress.)

Emerson has no problems helping herself to whatever she wants. Today it was crayons. These are dangerous in her hands, of course.

Apparently she is not the only one with dangerous hands. I know she did not do this!

One Last Pic

We have a pass to a pretty nice pool, but sometimes getting everyone and all things we need loaded up can be a bit much. On a whim we can just turn on the sprinkler. The kids really have fun either way.

I posted this bad picture mostly because it is one of the last ones we will ever take at our current place. We Are Moving!! We were almost completely packed up when Jeremy found his new job, so we decided to go ahead and move to a bigger place. This is the big weekend and week. So I may be a bit out of commission for blogging, but really that would not be much different than the rest of the month of June.

I am welcoming July with open arms!!

The Maid

I was loading the dishwasher the other day and noticed this...

...Only one adult plate.

Seriously it is their world, I just maintain it.

Occasionally they pitch in.

Lagoon

Jeremy loves all things amusement park. He talked me into taking our two oldest girls to Lagoon. I thought it was going to be a lot of work, but we had a GREAT time.

The favorite ride of the girls was the boats. It was the only ride they enjoyed more than once.

We went on the log ride as a family. Micah was absolutely mad that she got wet. Sloane took off running to ride it again. So second time around Jeremy and Sloane went alone.
I think they like the car ride, but probably would have enjoyed it alone better.

Micah kept asking to play games. She really is NOT a rides enthusiast.
I wasn't allowed on this ride because of my open toed shoes. Micah was quite fine with sitting out on a ride. She enjoyed the atmosphere more than actual riding.
The train ride was mild enough for Micah so we all went.

The lines were short and the weather was in our favor. Lagoon really is family friendly and has a lot of shade. The only ride that dragged was the newest ride Odysea. The ride itself was fun. but it was a long line, in the direct HOT sun. Jeremy's Mom was kind enough to pick the girls up at 5 p.m. Jeremy and I stayed the rest of the night. It was nice to spend some alone time together.
If we lived there I would definitely get passes. My girls had a blast!

Homecoming

The girls uncle came home from India. Our first trip to Utah was to welcome him home from the airport. Our second trip was to hear him speak in church and participate in the family get together.

There was plenty of extended cousins to play with, the girls really enjoyed it.

Grandma and Grandpa have a great backyard for a get together. They lowered the basket ball hoop so little kids could play.
Emie enjoyed all the commotion. This is my favorite picture of the day. Grandpa reading to all three girls from his new book we got him for Father's Day.

Malad Gorge

We decided to buy a State Park Pass. We had already visited the Dunes and decided to stop by Malad Gorge. We plan on swimming and camping so it seems to be worth it.

The Gorge is beautiful, very large and very deep.

My girls were "iffy" on the bridge. I put Emie down and she ran right off it. It can be overwhelming to peer over the side and look down, down, down.

A Few Random Pics

Jeremy told the girls to look for the "pot of gold" at the end of the rainbow. I loved the way they actually followed it and searched.

I have many pictures that look like this one. Micah poses on cue for every picture. She is also sporting her second black eye of the season.

This is the first time Emie has turned away from having her picture taken, in a really long time.

I wish Sloane was just pointing to something interesting, but I think she is "painting" my windows. One should be so lucky to have kids who do this.

Hogle Zoo

I have been a little, or a lot behind on my blogging. It has been a long, stressful month. Good news this is the last weekend in June. Besides the heat, July looks real promising.

At the beginning part of June we were visiting Utah. We took Sloane and Emie to the zoo. Micah was sick and stayed at home for a little one on one with Grandma.

I thought this was a cool shot with Sloane, Jeremy and the Rhino in the picture.

Ice cream is always a highlight of any outing.

So are shoulder rides.

You can not see the little bird, but my girls loved the fact that it tried to bite their fingers through the glass. I mean we have birds that will peck them at home (for free), but the glass made it more interesting.

All little kids love the water feature with the marble ball. Big kids like it too.

It was really fun, I actually enjoyed walking around. The weather was perfect for us and the animals.

Public Again

Go Ahead an re add me to your google readers and bloglines. I am Public once again. Going private was a lot of work, so I can not believe I am doing this. But, I like being public better.

Hip Hip Hooray

A new job saves the day.

We were packing up ready to move to a new place. But, low and behold a job opportunity presented itself in our own backyard. Jeremy is so happy about working here and we did not have to compromise our asking salary. We feel so lucky and so blessed.

I am so Grateful for all those who kept us in their prayers.

That is right people we do not have to move anywhere. I think I have been in a state of shock. I really did not expect things to work out so well.

I think I might just celebrate by making my blog public again! What do you all think?

Playing with Cousins

Seriously, what kid doesn't love a bubble machine!?!

While we were visiting Jeremy's parents, we headed down to spend time with my cousin and her ADORABLE kiddos.

Emie just loves bubbles. She would stand so close and put her face right up to it, I thought we would for certain be washing soap out of her eyes. She was just fine.

This is the snuggliest little one ever. He is so sweet and simply precious.

Our kids play so well together, it is awesome.

The sand box was a big hit! I am a clean freak, but Jeremy has been helping me slowly get over it by letting the kids get dirty and wet. They had such a fun time and I enjoyed watching them. **Sigh** I may break down and eventually get one.
I love it when my kids play well together and with others, especially cousins.

We are ready to come back and visit again!
