It was no State Fair of Texas, but fun just the same

Since there will be no State fair of Texas for our family this year, we settled for the local county fair. There were animals, face painting, shows, balloons, games, ooey gooey food, and of course rides. The girls had a really good time. It was 100 degrees outside so it felt like it could have been Texas in October. From what I have been hearing it wasn't too much like Dallas has been this summer, there wasn't a drop of rain in sight!
Sloane loved getting her face painted.
Micah wouldn't go until she saw Sloane was having so much fun.
Now Emie is old enough to be included, and if we forget she reminds us.
We had to ride the "Strawberry Shortcake ride."
They smiled the entire time.

Oh, Idaho Fairs! I miss you :) Good ol' Boise. It looks like you had a good time--love the face painting!

Your girls are so cute! Sorry, you know being in MO there is no breathing. Mom always has something planned! Always on the go go go. I am not sure if Kristofer can handle this non- stop adventure! hehe...

It seems like fair time is always HOT! Add stinky farm animals, tummy aches from all the fair food, and a broken bank account from expensive carnival rides and it makes for a great summer memory. Only sad thing about going to the county fair is that it means summer is almost over and school is just around the corner. Looks like a great time!
